NewBridge Bank Opens Charlotte Loan Production Office

Greensboro, N.C. – NewBridge Bank has opened a new Charlotte loan production office with an experienced commercial banking team led by Tim Ignasher, Senior Vice President, Commercial Banking Manager and Charlotte City Executive. Ignasher and his team will be based out of NewBridge Bank’s Charlotte mortgage banking office at 6000 Fairview Road, Suite 650.
“Charlotte is the largest city in North Carolina and one of the largest metropolitan regions in the Southeast,” said David P. Barksdale, Senior Executive Vice President and Chief Banking Officer for NewBridge Bank. “Our Charlotte loan production office adds to NewBridge Bank’s expansion into the major growth regions of North Carolina which also include the Piedmont Triad, Raleigh and Wilmington markets.”
In his new role as Commercial Banking Manager and City Executive, Ignasher will develop new client relationships in Charlotte and surrounding communities. He will also be responsible for developing and managing the loan portfolio of the region’s loan production office.
With over 25 years of experience, including the last three as an Area Executive for a local community bank, Ignasher is an accomplished commercial banker and highly qualified leader. In past positions he was responsible for managing a portfolio, credit administration and regulatory needs for a $190 million community bank and for leading a team of commercial bankers spanning three counties around Charlotte. A native of Huntington, N.Y. and graduate of the University of Houston, Ignasher has lived in Charlotte for the last 21 years with his wife and two children, Hannah and Crosby, both of whom are in college.

The new commercial lending team will also include Philip Chandler, Senior Vice President and Commercial Banker; Kevin Kennelly, Vice President and Commercial Banker; Becky Berolatti, Vice President and Treasury Services Specialist; and Miriam Hood Carroll, Assistant Vice President and Commerical Underwriter. Including Ignasher, all five banking professionals have previous experience opening a loan production office and developing a commercial banking portfolio for a local community bank in the Charlotte area.
In his new role as Senior Vice President and Commercial Banker, Philip Chandler will develop new client relationships and will be responsible for managing the banking relationships of a portfolio of commercial clients located in the Charlotte area. He has 15 years of experience and is skilled in managing all aspects of the lending function including business development, analyzing, structuring, negotiating, and closing commercial loans. A graduate of Appalachian State University and the Graduate School of Banking at Louisiana State University, Chandler resides in Charlotte with his wife, Anna, and two children, Caleb and Sloane.
Kevin Kennelly will also be responsible for developing and managing client relationships in his role as Vice President and Commercial Banker. He has over 10 years of capital markets, underwriting and lending experience. His portfolio management has included a broad array of commercial real estate, medical, and commercial and industrial clients. A native of Charlotte, Kennelly is a graduate of Charlotte Latin School, The University of Virginia, and The American Bankers Association Stonier Graduate School of Banking at the University of Pennsylvania.
As Vice President and Treasury Services Specialist, Becky Berolatti will support the commercial banking team to build comprehensive financial partnerships with clients. In her previous role, she managed and oversaw the bank’s Charlotte deposit accounts totaling more than $15 million and worked directly with clients to ensure superior levels of operational efficiency. Berolatti graduated from Elon University and currently serves as Vice Chair of the Board of Directors, as well as Chair of the Nominating Committee, for Hospitality House of Charlotte.
Miriam Hood Carroll will leverage her role as Assistant Vice President and Credit Underwriter to actively participate in client calling with the commercial banking team. She will rely on her experience underwriting manufacturing, distribution, and service companies as well as non-profits and multiple types of commercial real estate. Carroll graduated Summa Cum Laude from Georgia Southern University where she was awarded the Wall Street Journal Award for Excellence in Finance.
